Good questions. Clear answers.
Everything about rug sizes, prices, materials, collection and return before sending your request.
How much does rug cleaning cost?
Machine-made rugs start at €18/m². Wool, shaggy, Persian and delicate rugs have indicative rates between €25 and €40/m². A €69.90 cleaning minimum applies. Collection and return are normally €29.90, now discounted 100% (€0).
Is collection and return included in the cleaning price?
No. Collection and return normally cost €29.90. A 100% promotional discount currently reduces this to €0, subject to route and address confirmation.
How long will my rug take?
Please allow at least five calendar days from collection. Specialist handling, drying and transport availability can take longer.
Do you clean Persian and oriental rugs?
We can assess Persian and hand-knotted rugs. Before treatment, we review fibres, dyes, fringes and condition. Not every rug is suitable for the same process.
Can I request pickup in Estepona or Torrevieja?
Yes, the form accepts requests from both areas. Collection is not automatically confirmed; it depends on route coverage and rug assessment.
How is the estimate calculated?
Length times width in metres gives the square metres. We then apply the chosen material rate, the cleaning minimum, standard €29.90 collection fee and the automatically applied 100% transport discount.
Can I book more than one rug?
Yes. Use “Add another rug” to estimate several items in one request, with one transport charge when the same address and route are confirmed.
Is my booking confirmed when I submit the form?
No. The form sends a request and indicative estimate. We contact you to confirm the date, access, treatment and final price.
Where is your facility?
We work with WashMe at Avenida del Golf 25, Riviera del Sol, Mijas Costa (29649 Málaga). Please check before dropping off a rug in person.
Built for rugs. Backed by laundry experience.
RugWash is the specialist rug-focused service associated with WashMe, with a real working base in Riviera del Sol.
Why a dedicated rug service?
An area rug is not just another laundry item. It may combine different fibres, glues, dyes, fringes and backing that react differently to moisture and cleaning. That is why we ask about the material, size and condition before confirming a treatment.
The collection operation is coordinated with WashMe at Av. del Golf 25 in Riviera del Sol. We serve local enquiries throughout Marbella and Mijas, and assess longer-distance requests, including Estepona and Torrevieja, individually.
We prefer to offer an honest estimate followed by an inspection over promising an unsuitable wash for a valuable rug.
